Connecting elements
Elements for connection to an electrical circuit are important parts of every heating element. Their proper choice, in accordance to the heating element parameters and to the field of application, is essential for correct and safe operation of the element in a specific device or environment.
Most common connecting means for rods with circular cross section

- Output pin

- Flat pin, dimension 6.3

- Flat pin, dimension 6.3

- Flat double pin, dimension 6.3

- Connecting base with screw M4 or M5

- Connecting base with screw M4

- Stud M4 or M5 with nuts and washers

- Output stranded wire
Connecting elements for rods with oval cross section
Output stranded wires of suitable lengths are used as connection elements at rods with flat-oval cross section. Depending on the operating temperature, brass or nickel output stranded wires are used. The stranded wires can be equipped with suitable insulation material.
| Output stranded wires | Stranded wire material | Insulation material | Max. operating temp. (°C) |

Connection of protective earth cable

- An earthing cable soldered on the heating element sheath can be optionally covered with shrink tube

- An earthing cable connected on the heating element sheath by means of a welded bolt with a nut.
