Complaint Terms and Conditions

The complaint terms and conditions of Backer Elektro CZ are in accordance with the valid provisions of the Commercial Code.

Two kinds of products from our production – electric heating elements and household appliances, this also means their different practical use and the resulting certain differences when handling possible complaints.

Household Appliances

The electric household appliances produced by us are equipped with an operating manual and a certificate of warranty. Before the first use of the product, please read the operating manual. If there are any uncertainties, you can address us directly and you will obtain further information on phone number 463 030 621.

The duration of the warranty period and the information on the procedure during a complaint are stated on the certificate of warranty that forms a part of the operating manual.

In case of occurrence of a defect within the warranty period, address some of the warranty services, the current list of which is attached to the product. You can also send the appliance directly to us at the address:

Do not forget to attach the certificate of warranty to the product, a copy of the purchase document (cash-on-delivery invoice) and a brief description of the defect and its effect.

Electric Heating Elements

With electric heating elements that serve as a part of some machine or equipment and/or are designed as a spare part for a specific electric appliance, we provide a warranty period of 6 months.

The heating elements are not equipped with an operating manual and a certificate of warranty due to their nature of use. In this case, the purchase document (cash-on-delivery invoice) serves as the certificate of warranty. In case of uncertainties concerning the correct connection and use of the heating element, contact us at the phone number 463 030 615.

The use of the heating element outside the equipment, for which this element is designed by the manufacturer, must be consulted by the purchaser with the seller. If the purchaser uses the heating element in conflict with the designation of the seller, possibly in conflict with his recommendation, any claims from the defects of these goods cannot be acknowledged in such cases.

Do not forget to attach to the product a copy of the purchase document (cash-on-delivery invoice), which serves as the certificate of warranty, and furthermore a brief description of the defect and its effect. The heating element complaint may only be acknowledged in case the element has been correctly used for the purpose for which it is designed and it has been correctly expertly connected and fastened into the specific equipment or appliance.

Customer Recommendation

When taking over the cash-on-delivery shipment, check still in the presence of the carrier the intactness of the packaging and whether it shows clear signs of damage.

In case of possible damage of the packaging, either do not take over the shipment or write the corresponding protocol on the condition of the packaging directly on the spot with the carrier and take over the shipment.

Should it happen that the product is non-functional after the unpacking, send it back to the address of our complaint department, namely as a regular mail package (not cash on delivery!). We will replace the product with a new flawless one and send it to your address on our costs.

The product shows a defect within the warranty period – proceed according to the aforementioned complaint terms and conditions for household appliance or for electric heating elements.
